LM2903 consists of two independent precision voltage comparators with an offset voltage specification as low as 2.0 mV, designed specifically to operate from a single power supply over a wide range of voltages.

The IC eliminates the requirement of external biasing parts/components in various applications. The IC is also calibrated to be used over a wide range of commercial, industrial, and military temperature ranges. LM2903 always comes in an 8 pin hermetically sealed, dual inline IC packaging (DIP). The IC is designed with conformity with low-power, bandwidth, and high stability in order to operate with a single power supply over extensive operating voltage ranges.

Voltage Comparator

A voltage comparator can be defined as an electronic circuit that can compare two input voltages and distinguish which one of them is at a higher level of amplitude.

There are two main types of voltage comparators:

  1. Non inverting Comparators
  2. Inverting Comparators
