RC Phase Shift Oscillator using Op-Amp

6,743 views

Here in this project, we are going to make an RC Phase Shift Oscillator utilizing Op-Amp. An electronic oscillator circuit that gives sine wave yield is the Phase Shift Oscillator. It can either be composed by utilizing a semiconductor or utilizing a reversing amplifier, an operational amplifier.

For the most part, these phase shift oscillators are utilized as sound oscillators. In the RC phase shift oscillator, a 180-degree phase shift is produced by the RC network, and the Op-amp creates another 180 degrees, so the subsequent wave is changed by 360 degrees.

Aside from producing the sine wave yield, they are likewise used to give critical control over the phase-shifting cycle.

Circuit Operation

The oscillator of the RC phase shift gives an exact sine waveform. The first oscilloscope probe generates an input wave, the second Oscilloscope probe is supplied by the 90 ° Phase Shift Sine wave, the third is a 180-degree Phase Shift Sine, and the fourth is a 360 ° Phase Shift Output Wave. Here, a 180 ° phase shift is offered by the feedback network. Each of the RC networks has 60 degrees. And by the op-amp in the inverting configuration, the remainder 180 ° phase shift is produced.

Using the following formulation to measure the frequency of oscillation:

F = 1 / 2πRC√2N
