In this tutorial, we made a simple audio tone control circuit. So, In simple language, Circuit Tone Control is a circuit that helps to control audio output. The volume, triple, and distortion of the audio output can be monitored to control the output. Therefore we must verify the output frequency to achieve this objective. If the output frequency can be regulated, that is our goal!

Circuit Operation

This confirms that the audio input is offered to the circuit, and the clarification of high-pass filters and low-pass filters is provided after using the low-pass filters and high-pass filters. The +15Volt and -15Volt power supply from the double supply is also supplied to the TL072 Op-amp. The 8th terminal is given +15 Volts, and the 4th terminal of the opamp TL072 is supplied with -15 Volts. The audio input is supplied to TL072’s third terminal, and the sound output is produced from TL072’s terminal 1.

The variable resistors (pot) are then granted this output. We can sometimes adjust the pitch, the treble, and the bass with these pots. The output is generated by the conventional speaker. That’s why the sound output is low, where we used the low watts speakers.

Three potentiometers were connected here to monitor Treble, Volume, and Bass. The respective parameter (volume, treble, and bass) is adjusted accordingly when you rotate the potentiometer knob.

Applications and Uses

It can be used to create a speaker at a very inexpensive price to implement this Tone Controller circuit. It’s easy to use, and it also offers decent performance when using speakers with higher watts.
