Introduction

As we already know that amplifiers are the circuit that converts the weak input signal into a strong output signal. In this article, we are making a 60-watt amplifier circuit that converts the weak audio signal into a high amplitude of the audio signal at the output. The circuit uses the IC that delivers 60 Watt power at the load.

The Integrated circuit STK4038 reduces the noise that generates in the circuit. In addition, it supports the thermal shut down and protects the device from a short circuit. However, it can not bear a voltage greater than 55 volts. For making a better circuit, use a quality PCB. The output load speaker shoulder is 4 ohms and 75 watts. Therefore, the input supply should not be more than 32 Volts.

Working Explanation

The capacitor C1 in the circuit is the decoupling capacitor that blocks the DC voltage. While R1 is the input resistor of the circuit. C8 and C10 are working as the ripple filters for a positive and negative supply. Resistors R7 and R9 limit the current for the driver stage. Capacitors C11 and C3vare filter capacitors. R6 is the feedback resistor. The gain relies on this resistor R6. R2 and C9 are together forming a Nobel network that improves stability.
